I'm so excited for Valentine's Day because it reminds me of all the love in my life. Here are some of my favorite ways to spend the holiday with the people I love!

Operation Smile: One of my favorite things about Valentine's Day is making people smile. Operation Smile is a wonderful organization and I love helping out in any way that I can. Give a gift to a child in need this Valentine's Day!

Pink Roses: Every girl has a favorite flower-just make sure you remember what her favorite is! Mine is pink roses; something about them always seems to brighten my day!

"Slutty Brownies": These are my absolute favorite! Whether you're with your Valentine or at home alone – these never disappoint!

A Romantic Movie: There's no reason you have to go out on a fancy Valentine's Date-stay in and make dinner (or have someone make it for you)! "Great Expectations" is one of my favorite romantic flicks! So sensual and heart wrenching!!

I Fancy You Perfume- Jessica Simpson Collection: I had so much fun creating this scent and I think it's a perfect way to sweeten up your Valentine's Day! It's fruity and floral without being over the top

A Great Love Song: Dolly Parton is an amazing musician and such an inspiration to me. There's just something about her love songs that always gets to me.

A Missoni Robe: This is always a score! Comfy and chic to cuddle up in!

A Beautiful Pendant: I love the Diamond Tilted Butterfly Pendant from my Zales fine jewelry line. This is a great gift!

A Keepsake: A great way to make that special someone know that you really love them, is to keep something from your romantic night and give it to them the next time you see them. For instance, the label from your wine bottle the two of you shared over dinner.

Diptyque Feu de Bois Mini Candles: I love these candles. They are a staple in my house! They just smell like romance.

Last Wednesday, January 18 my mom went to the dentist. Afterwards she decided to go to Macy's Optical and get new glasses. She has the ones where there is a line in the middle and the upper part is for seeing far (distance) and the lower part is for seeing close-up (reading). She never quite got used to wearing them and was always complaining that she was getting dizzy and when she walked down the stairs she felt like she was going to fall so she decided to get new glasses.

While at Macy's Optical she saw they had Jessica Simpson eyeglasses. Later when she got home she told me about them and I said to her that I didn't know that she made eyeglasses. I said that I knew that she made sunglasses but not eyeglasses. If you go to her collection official website you don't see them there. My mom then told me that they couldn't fit her in so she made an appointment for the next day.

The next day she decided to take me to Macy's Optical with her so that I can take a look at the Jessica Simpson eyeglasses. I took a look at them and even tried them on and found one that looked good on me. I then decided that I wanted to get new eyeglasses because I haven't gotten new ones in over 7 years. The ones I currently have have the scratch resistance thing on them but that is already coming off and the lenses are getting scratched. My eyeglasses were long overdue plus I haven't had an eye checkup since then.

The eye doctor at Macy's Optical took me in after my mom even though she already had someone else coming in. They weren't there so they took me in. I am getting the eyeglasses pictured above. They come in two different colors and I'm getting them in black and strawberry. They will be coming in two weeks. I can't wait for them to come. When they come I'll take a picture of them and post them on here.
