She did it once and she can do it again!

Jessica Simpson appears on the January/February 2013 issue of Weight Watchers magazine. Wearing a star print top and black pants, the singer proudly shows off her 50-pound weight loss after the May 1 arrival of her first child, daughter Maxwell. (Simpson wore the same outfit during a Macy's appearance in Costa Mesa, Calif., Nov. 10.)

In the accompanying interview, the Texas native, 32, reveals how she stayed fit while taping the second season of NBC's Fashion Star. "I'm crazy about smoothies, so I bring fruit chopped up and ready to go. That way, I can sip the same smoothie all morning long between takes," Simpson shares. "If it thins out, I put it back in the blender with crushed ice for a few minutes."

As Us Weekly exclusively reported in its Dec. 10 issue, Simpson is currently pregnant with her second child. (Eric Johnson's fiancee of two years waited until Christmas to share the news with fans via Twitter.)

The once-wed star addressed her baby news in a just-released commercial for Weight Watchers. "This year is all about new beginnings for me," Simpson says in the ad. "I lost over 50 pounds on Weight Watchers and did not have to be perfect to do it. Being healthy has become a part of who I am -- which is great timing, because I'm having another baby."

(A rep for Weight Watchers tells ABC News Simpson "will not be following the program during the pregnancy while her weight and well-being are monitored by her obstetrician, as is recommended for any woman during pregnancy. After she gives birth, Jessica and her doctor will decide when she may resume following the Weight Watchers program.")

Says the pregnant fashion designer, "I feel like I'm on top of the world!"

The second-time mom-to-be shared a gorgeous photo of herself and Eric Johnson on Twitter Wednesday, Dec. 26 in Hawaii. Simpson, 32, who appeared to be makeup free, had a big smile on her face beside her husband-to-be with the stunning ocean views behind them.

While on their holiday vacation, the Fashion Star mentor finally confirmed she's expecting her second child with her football player fiance, 33. (Us Weekly first broke the news of Simpson's second pregnancy in November.) On Christmas Day, Simpson tweeted a photo of daughter Maxwell, nearly 8 months, sitting on the beach with "Big Sis" written in the sand next to her. "Merry Christmas from my family to yours!" Simpson tweeted for her pregnancy announcement.

After welcoming Maxwell, Simpson became a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers to help her lose the baby weight. In a new commercial, the pregnant star says, "This year is all about new beginnings for me. I lost over 50 pounds on Weight Watchers and did not have to be perfect to do it. Being healthy has become a part of who I am . . . which is great timing, because I'm having another baby."

"Congrats to Jessica Simpson, Eric and big-sister-to-be Maxwell!" the company tweeted Dec. 25. "Your WW family is so thrilled for you. What an amazing year you've had!"

Life's a beach for second-time mom-to-be Jessica Simpson!

On Wednesday, Dec. 26 -- one day after confirming her pregnancy with a Twitter photo of daughter Maxwell Drew sitting in the sand next to the words "Big Sis" -- the 32-year-old Fashion Star mentor stepped out with fiance Eric Johnson in Hawaii. Showing off her lean legs in a short, colored caftan, the singer held a denim shirt in front of her belly to conceal any signs of a baby bump as she strolled hand-in-hand along the surf with her football player beau, 33.

As Us Weekly exclusively revealed in November, the couple are expecting their second child together, less than eight months after welcoming baby Maxwell into the world. Simpson had been tight-lipped about the pregnancy -- which "definitely wasn't planned," a pal told Us -- but she broke her silence this week, first on Twitter and then in a newly released Weight Watchers ad.

"This year is all about new beginnings for me," the star says in the commercial. "I lost over 50 pounds on Weight Watchers and did not have to be perfect to do it. Being healthy has become a part of who I am...which is great timing, because I'm having another baby."

And even though the little bundle-of-joy was a surprise, "I feel like I'm on top of the world," she gushes.

Eating for two!

Debuting the beginning of a baby bump, pregnant-again Jessica Simpson was among the bridesmaids at the Saturday Dec. 15 wedding of BFF CaCee Cobb and Scrubs actor Donald Faison, held at the L.A.-area home of Zach Braff.

Wearing a black gown and carrying a bouquet of red roses for the ceremony, the Fashion Star mentor, 32, was her usual bubbly self at the bash, according to a a witness.

"Jessica was very social, making the rounds and talking to everyone," the observer tells Us Weekly. Naturally, the expectant star and Weight Watchers spokeswoman "completely avoided the bar area."

But the mother to baby daughter Maxwell, 7 months, "wasn't shy about eating," the witness adds. "She reached out to the servers and was sampling everything that came by. She seemed to really like the chicken wings and had a few. Then she went for the fried risotto balls."

With her fiance Eric Johnson nearby, the former Dukes of Hazzard star had a drama-free reunion with her father, Joe, who arrived at the bash with her sister Ashlee. "After the ceremony Joe came right up to Jessica and gave her a big hug," says the witness of the family patriarch, who announced his divorce from Jessica's mother Tina, back in September. "Jessica talked to him for awhile and there didn't seem to be any problems."

(A pal told Us that there was initially some tension between Jessica and her father following the end of his 35-year marriage to Tina.)

The singer also took some pains to disguise her expanding pregnancy curves, the witness says. "She held her bouquet of red flowers in front of her stomach most of the time," says the observer. "She seemed bigger in the belly, but her dress was loose enough that her pregnancy wasn't too obvious."
