Actor
Paola has been acting and working in both Colombia (where she was Miss Colombia in 1991) and the U.S., where she's appeared on TV's "Californication" and "Cane," as well as the 2007 film "Love in the Time of Cholera." She was born in Houston but earned her degree in psychology from the University of Los Andes and studied theater at the Acting Studio in Hollywood, Florida. Paola is also a very prominent television personality in Colombia, where she's been the official host for the Miss Colombia and Miss Universe beauty pageants, among others. You can also see her in the 2008 television series "Novel Adventures."

Character
As a very busy flight attendant and a single mom to bad girl Adrian, Cindy has a lot on her plate. She may have a few hookups now and then, but it was her affair with George, aka Amy's dad, that really got everyone talking. And if she thought breaking up with George was hard, what's going to happen now that Adrian's dad, Ruben, has walked back into their lives? This is, after all, the man she turned down when she was pregnant with Adrian -- even though he offered to marry her. Now both mother and daughter just may find their lives turned upside down.
