Character
On paper, Margaret is Ricky's foster mother, but she's the closest thing to a real mom he's ever had. She tries to give him the freedom to have a normal high school life, but when she makes rules, she expects them to be followed, with no exceptions. And, though Ricky may think he can keep secrets from her, he's usually wrong: She's a social worker, after all, and she stays up to date on all the latest news in town. She encourages Ricky to do the right thing about Amy's pregnancy and take responsibility ... but will she be able to talk some sense into him if he doesn't?
