Over the course of his 30-plus-year career, John Schneider starred in the popular '80s comedy-adventure series "The Dukes of Hazzard" for six seasons and then in "Smallville" for another six seasons. He reprised his beloved role as Bo Duke in the TV movie "The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood." John was also a regular on the family drama "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" and the syndicated drama "Heaven Help Us." One of the highlights of his career was transitioning from a TV "Duke" to a Broadway "Baron" in the Tony-winning musical "Grand Hotel."

He recently directed and starred in the original TV movie "Mary Christmas" with Cynthia Gibb and has appeared in numerous original telefilms, including "Michael Landon, the Father I Knew," "True Women," "Night of the Twisters," "The Legend of Ruby Silver," "Texas," and "Desperate Journey." John can also be heard voicing the lead character on the animated series "The Mummy." Catch him in the thriller "Conjurer" (PG-13), as well as "Holyman Undercover" and "Set Apart" (both not yet rated). In 2009, John will be appearing in the films "The Gods of Circumstance" and "The Rebound."

But the role dearest to his heart is being a dad to his three kids. A native of Mt. Kisco, New York, John currently lives just outside L.A. with his family.
