Actor
Francia Raisa was born and raised in Southern California, where her dad, Maximo Renan Almendarez Coello, is the No. 1 DJ in L.A. (He's known as "El Cucuy" on 97.9 FM, La Raza.)

As a junior in high school, Francia started modeling for print ads, starring in commercials, and even dabbling in the world of sitcoms. After shooting "Bring It On: All or Nothing" opposite Hayden Panettiere of NBC's "Heroes," Francia starred in the Nickelodeon film "Shredderman Rules." In summer 2008, she was shooting a lead role in "Underground" and starred as the female lead in ABC Family's original movie "The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream."

She's a majorette with the marching band, and Adrian's also the "bad girl" of Grant High. She has plenty of opportunities to break the rules, because her flight attendant mom travels a lot. Even so, Adrian's great at her schoolwork. She's also Ricky Underwood's on-again, off-again girlfriend, but she'd never actually admit that she's kind of ... um, into him ... and wants more than just a series of one-night stands. Her relationship with Ricky gets even more complicated after she hooks up with Jack Pappas in front of the whole school, and even more so when her enemy-turned-kind-of-friend, Grace Bowman, decides she may want Ricky for herself. But with Adrian's long-lost father, Ruben, suddenly back in her life, maybe she'll get the kind of guidance she needs to kick her bad-girl ways once and for all.
