She played troublesome teenager Vanessa on "The Bernie Mac Show," and she voiced the character Ashley T on the animated "Recess." She's had guest parts on "Strong Medicine," "Criminal Minds," and "Grey's Anatomy," as well as a recurring role on "7th Heaven." Lauren and Amy used to be besties, but that friendship is kind of up in the air, thanks to a certain Ricky Underwood. Not only do Lauren and her parents disapprove of what Amy did with him that fateful night at band camp, but Lauren proves herself to be somewhat hypocritical by giving in to Ricky's advances. But Lauren thinks that she, unlike Amy, won't make the big mistake with Ricky, especially because she sees right through his womanizing ways. And maybe she does have superpowers of resistance, because her dad is none other than Dr. Ken Fields, aka Ricky's psychiatrist. Does level-headed thinking run in the family?
