about

FutureSex/LoveSounds is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake. Released on September 8, 2006, by Jive Records and its affiliated label of the Zomba Group of Companies. During a two-year hiatus, Timberlake resolved his feelings on being unable to record any new material, and as he returned to record some new music, he began collaborating with his longtime record producer Timbaland, alongside the latter's colleague Danja. The album's contents were produced at Timbaland's Thomas Crown Studios. The album shares some lyrical themes with Timberlake's debut album Justified (2002), although FutureSex/LoveSounds was influenced by a wider range of genres, including trance, funk and rock. The reprises and interludes interspersed on the album's tracks were created by the production team with the goal of channeling Timberlake's influences.

FutureSex/LoveSounds received mostly positive reviews from critics, who noted its wide range of influences and collection of eclectic sounds. The album produced six singles that attained chart success; including US Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles: "SexyBack", "My Love", and "What Goes Around... Comes Around". With "Summer Love", the album achieved four US Mainstream Top 40 number-one songs. Many music publications considered it among the best albums of the 2000s. Aside from earning numerous best-of-the-decade lists, the album received several Grammy Award nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, while its first four singles won in their respective categories. It has been certified multi-platinum in many countries worldwide, and has sold over 10 million copies, with four million in the United States. The album has been added to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's musical library and archive. It is also considered by critics and fans to be one of Timberlake's best albums to date. To further promote the album, Timberlake embarked on his second concert tour, entitled FutureSex/LoveShow, which became one of the highest-grossing tours in 2007.

lyrics
Sexy Ladies/Let Me Talk to You (Prelude)

I can tell you wanna drink girl
You ain't gotta worry no more
You keep my bottles cold and you pop 'em
As soon as I walk in the door

These dudes don't know me from Adam and Eve
That's why they can't mess up my flow
And when this beat drops, your heart stops
You feel it from your head to your toes

If you know what I'm talking 'bout
Let me see you work it out
Girl, that's what I'm talking 'bout

I got sexy ladies all over the floor
You're talking to one of the greatest who did it before
Now I'm back with one of my latest just letting you know
That I got sexy ladies so back up some more
And let me take it off

I know a little girly from uptown
Just waiting just to cater to me
I know a little Betty from downtown
That'll do anything that I please

All my other people that dance 'round
When they hear me rocking the groove
Now it might sound cocky
But is it really cocky if you know that it's true?

If you know what I'm talking 'bout
Let me see you work it out
Girl, that's what I'm talking 'bout

I got sexy ladies all over the floor
You're talking to one of the greatest who did it before
Now I'm back with one of my latest just letting you know
That I got sexy ladies so back up some more
And let me take it off

Sexy, sexy, sexy
Walk that body, talk that body
Sexy, sexy, sexy
Walk that body, talk that body

Sexy, sexy, sexy
Walk that body, talk that body
Sexy, sexy, sexy
Walk that body, talk that body

Now break it down
Now move a little bit to the left
Now move back over here to the right
Let me see you walk, walk, yeah
Let me see you walk, here comes your part, girl

Sexy, sexy, sexy
Walk that body, talk that body
(Slow down girl)
Sexy, sexy, sexy
Walk that body, talk that body
(Slow down girl)

Sexy, sexy, sexy
Walk that body, talk that body
(Slow down girl)
Sexy, sexy, sexy
Walk that body

I got sexy ladies all over the floor
You're talking to one of the greatest who did it before
Now I'm back with one of my latest just letting you know
That I got sexy ladies so back up some more
And let me take it off
