Godric Gryffindor (10th Century): He was the founder of Gryffindor house.

Sir Cadogan: Attended Hogwarts during the Middle Ages. He was a sworn Knight of the Round Table in King Arthur's royal court, known for his defeat of the Wyvern of Wye. Now has a portrait on the seventh floor landing of the Divination corridor, which for a while guarded Gryffindor Tower from November 1993 to February 1994.

Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington: Attended Hogwarts during the 15th century. He was a knight and courtier in Henry VII's royal court, who was improperly beheaded for a magical attempt to straighten a lady-in-waiting's crooked teeth which instead made her grow a tusk. Later became the house ghost.

Astrix Alixan: Attended Hogwarts from 1680s–1690s. He was captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team from 1688–1692.

Hugh Biggs: Attended Hogwarts during the 1710s. He was captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team from 1712–1716.

Mike Boon Attended Hogwarts from the 1710s–1720s. He was captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team from 1716–1720.

Jason Charmer: Attended Hogwarts during the 1720s. He was captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team from 1720–1724.

Eric Northcott: Attended Hogwarts from 1880s-1890s. He was a member of the Crossed Wands duelling club during the 1890-1891 school year.

Garreth Weasley: Attended Hogwarts from 1880s-1890s. He is the nephew of Deputy Headmistress Matilda Weasley. Famous for experimenting with magical drinks of his own creation.

Hector Jenkins: Attended Hogwarts from 1880s-1890s. He was a member of the Crossed Wands duelling club in 1890.

Leander Prewett: Attended Hogwarts from 1880s-1890s. He was known as a notorious bully according to Ravenclaw student Zenobia Noke.

Lucan Brattleby: Attended Hogwarts from 1880s-1890s. he was a member of the Crossed Wands duelling club.

Albus Dumbledore: Attended Hogwarts from 1892–1899. He was a Prefect and Head Boy, Winner of the Barnabus Finkley Prize for Exceptional Spell-Casting and British Youth Representative to the Wizengamot. He eventually became Gold Medal Winner for Ground-Breaking Contribution to the Cairo International Alchemical Conference, Transfiguration/Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor of Hogwarts from the 1910s to 1957, Winner of the Order of Merlin (First Class) for his duel with Gellert Grindelwald in 1945, Headmaster of Hogwarts from 1957 to 1997, Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot from 1978 to 1995, Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards from 1983 to 1997, and founder of the Order of the Phoenix. He was killed on his own orders by Severus Snape in the Battle of the Astronomy Tower.

Fleamont Potter: Attended Hogwarts during the c. late 1910s or earlier. He was a skillful duellist in his year with dexterity attributed in fights over the teasing his first name received. Eventually married Euphemia and became Potioneer inventor of Sleekeazy's Hair Potion in 1926. He is the father of James Potter and grandfather of the famous Harry Potter. Died of Dragon Pox in 1979.

Rubeus Hagrid: Attended Hogwarts from 1940–1943. He is a half-giant expelled in his third year after being framed for Tom Riddle's first opening of the Chamber of Secrets. Eventually became Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts from 1968 onward, and Care of Magical Creatures Professor of Hogwarts from 1993 onward.

Richard Carter: Attended Hogwarts during the 19060s. He was captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team in the 1960s.

Arthur Weasley: Attended Hogwarts from 1961-1968. Eventually married Molly Prewett and became Head of the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office until 1996, proposer of the Muggle Protection Act in 1992, Head of the Office for the Detection and Confiscation of Counterfeit Defensive Spells and Protective Objects from 1996 onward, and member of the Order of the Phoenix throughout the Second Wizarding War.

Sirius Black: Attended Hogwarts from 1971–1978. He is the only member of the House of Black to be sorted outside of Slytherin, Muscle of the Marauders under the alias "Padfoot", and Animagus in the form of a black dog. Eventually became a member of the Order of the Phoenix from 1978 to 1981 (at the height of the First Wizarding War), first unassisted escapee of Azkaban as the dog "Snuffles" in 1993, reinstated member of the Order of the Phoenix at the start of the Second Wizarding War, and godfather of the famous Harry Potter. Murdered by Bellatrix Lestrange in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries.

Remus Lupin: Attended Hogwarts from 1971-1978. He was a Prefect, Brains of the Marauders under the alias "Moony", and first Werewolf to attend Hogwarts, with his monthly transformations spent in the Shrieking Shack (accessible via a tunnel guarded by the Whomping Willow). Eventually became a member of the Order of the Phoenix from 1979 to 1981 (at the height of the First Wizarding War), Professor of Defence Against the Dark Arts of Hogwarts during the 1993–1994 school year, and reinstated member of the Order of the Phoenix throughout the Second Wizarding War, during which he married Nymphadora Tonks. Murdered by Antonin Dolohov in the Battle of Hogwarts.

Peter Pettigrew: Attended Hogwarts from 1971-1978. He is less-than-average learner and hopeless duellist, rookie of the Marauders under the alias "Wormtail", and Animagus in the form of a grey rat. Eventually became a timidly loyal Death Eater spy within the original Order of the Phoenix from 1979 to 1981 (at the height of the First Wizarding War), Disgraced Winner of the Order of Merlin (First Class) for his alleged confrontation and frame-up of Sirius Black in 1981, spy within the Weasley family as the rat "Scabbers" from 1981 to 1994, and full-time Death Eater throughout the Second Wizarding War. Died when his Silver Hand turned on him in the Skirmish at Malfoy Manor.

James Potter: Attended Hogwarts from 1971-1978. He was Head Boy, Chaser on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, Leader of the Marauders under the alias "Prongs", and Animagus in the form of a stag. Eventually married Lily Evans and became a member of the Order of the Phoenix from 1978 to 1981 (at the height of the First Wizarding War), and father of the famous Harry Potter. Murdered by Lord Voldemort in the first attack on Godric's Hollow.

William Weasley: Attended Hogwarts from 1982–1989. He was a Prefect and Head Boy, and Winner of the Medal for Magical Merit in his seventh year. Eventually married Fleur Delacour. Became a Curse-Breaker for Gringotts Bank from 1989 onward, and member of the Order of the Phoenix throughout the Second Wizarding War.

Ben Copper: Attended Hogwarts from 1984–1991. He was a muggle-born student. known for his Charms skills, member of the Astronomy Club, the Dragon Club and the Sphinx Club.

Charles Weasley: Attended Hogwarts from 1984-1991. He was a Prefect, Honorary Care of Magical Creatures participant, and Seeker and Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Eventually became a Dragonologist at a dragon sanctuary in Romania.

Wilfred Levi Kidd: Attended Hogwarts from 1984-1991. He struggled with Levitation Charms in Charms classes taught by Professor Flitwick.

Percy Weasley: Attended Hogwarts from 1987–1994. He was a Prefect and Head Boy. Eventually married Audrey and became Junior Assistant to the Minister for Magic during the Second Wizarding War and Head of the Department of Magical Transportation from 1998 onward.

Oliver Wood: Attended Hogwarts from 1987-1994. He was Keeper and Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team and Winner of the Award for Effort. Eventually became Reserve Keeper for Puddlemere United.

Lee Jordan: Attended Hogwarts from 1989-1996. He was a Commentator of Hogwarts Quidditch games and member of Dumbledore's Army. Eventually became the host of Potterwatch.

Fred Weasley: Attended Hogwarts from 1989-1996. He was a Beater on the Gryffindor Quidditch team and a member of Dumbledore's Army. Eventually left before the end of his final year and become co-founder with George of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. Was killed by an explosion in the Battle of Hogwarts.

George Weasley: Attended Hogwarts from 1989-1996. He was a Beater on the Gryffindor Quidditch team and a member of Dumbledore's Army. Eventually left before the end of his final year and become co-founder with Fred of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. After Fred was killed by an explosion in the Battle of Hogwarts, he married Angelina Johnson and ran the shop on his own for a while but was later supported in the running of the shop by his brother Ron Weasley.

Brian Cinderford: Attended Hogwarts during the 1990s. He Competed in the Wizard Skittles tournament in the 1996–1997 school year.

Ritchie Coote: Attended Hogwarts during the 1990s. He was a Beater on the Gryffindor Quidditch team in 1996 and 1997.

Andrew Kirke: Attended Hogwarts during the 1990s. He was a Beater on the Gryffindor Quidditch team in 1995.

Paul Mawdesley: Attended Hogwarts during the 1990s. He Competed in the Exploding Snap tournament in the 1996–1997 school year.

Harry Potter: Attended Hogwarts from 1991-1997. He was the youngest Seeker on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, Leader of Dumbledore's Army in his fifth year, and member of the Slug Club in his sixth year. Did not attend final year, defeated Lord Voldemort in the Battle of Hogwarts and was the Master of Death. Eventually married Ginny Weasley and became a professional Auror from 1998 to 2019, Head of the Auror Office from 2007 to 2019, and Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement from 2019 onwards.

Dean Thomas: Attended Hogwarts from 1991-1997. He was a temporary Chaser for the Gryffindor Quidditch team and member of Dumbledore's Army. Did not attend final year.

Ron Weasley: Attended Hogwarts from 1991-1997. He was a Prefect, Keeper on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and Deputy Leader of Dumbledore's Army; did not attend final year. Eventually married Hermione Granger and became a professional Auror from 1998 to 2000, and co-manager of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.

Seamus Finnigan: Attended Hogwarts from 1991-1998. He was a member of Dumbledore's Army.

Neville Longbottom: Attended Hogwarts from 1991-1998. He was an Honorary Herbology participant, Rookie of Dumbledore's Army in fifth year, Waiter at the Slug Club Christmas Party in his sixth year, and Acting Leader of Dumbledore's Army in his seventh year. Eventually married Hannah Abbott and briefly became an Auror, before becoming Herbology Professor of Hogwarts from some point in the 2010s onward.

Colin Creevey: Attended Hogwarts from 1992–1998. He was a member of Dumbledore's Army who died in what would have been his sixth year. Harry thought he was a bit annoying in his second year.

Dennis Creevey: Attended Hogwarts from 1994–2001. He was a member of Dumbledore's Army.

James S. Potter: Attended Hogwarts from 2015–?. He is the first child and son of the famous Harry Potter.
