In the first season, he was the newly appointed hospital administrator. Recently separated from his wife, who took their children with her and whom he later divorced, he also suffered from a relapsed tumor that was affecting his vision. In the second season, after his brain cancer surgery, he quit his position to finish his medical studies and became a resident at the hospital. In the third season, it's revealed that he is now a resident in Dallas after his ex-wife moved their children there. Dr. Michael Ragosa was portrayed by Freddy Rodriguez.
