Speedy Gonzales?
Speedy Gonzales is an animated caricature of a mouse in the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons. He is portrayed as "The Fastest Mouse in all Mexico" with his major traits being the ability to run extremely fast and an exaggerated Mexican accent. He usually wears an oversized yellow sombrero, white shirt and trousers, and a red kerchief, similar to that of a reveler in the San Fermin festival.
Why the fanlisting?
I don't really remember the first time I saw Speedy Gonzales but I do remember that I first saw him in a Looney Tunes cartoon. Ever since I first saw him I fell in love with him. I don't know what it is about him but I love him. I don't like real life mice. They sort of scare me. But I do have this thing for cartoon mice. I love Speedy Gonzales just as I love Mickey and Minne Mouse. I am a huge Mickey and Minnie Mouse fan as you can see by my room. Well anyways, I decided to create a fanlisting for Speedy Gonzales to show my love for him but there was already one for him. I joined that fanlisting. I was going through TFL in January 2011 looking to see if there were any fanlistings for some that I wanted to create. I then decided to check TFL to see if there was one for Speedy Gonzales. To my surprise, the one for him no longer existed so I applied and got it.
