Who are the New Kids on the Block?
New Kids on the Block (also known as NKOTB) is an American pop group that enjoyed success in the late 1980s and early 1990s as a boy band which went on to sell 80 million records world-wide. Assembled in Boston in 1984 by producer Maurice Starr, the members consist of brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood. They won two American Music Awards in 1990 for Favorite Pop/Rock Band, Duo, or Group and Favorite Pop/Rock Album. After having disbanded in 1994, several attempts were made to get the group back together, all of them unsuccessful. They reunited in 2008 and took on a new style, released a new album, and embarked on a concert tour in the fall. The album, entitled The Block was released on September 2, 2008.

Why the fanlisting?
I first fell in love with New Kids on the Block when I was 6 years old. I had went to a music store with my mom and bought my first music. It was a cassette of New Kids on the Block's album Step By Step. I listened to it and just fell in love with the music. I instantly became a fan. I was too young to go to a concert so I'd just listen to their music and watch their videos at home. I bought a vhs that had some music videos of theirs and watched it over and over again. I was sad when the group broke up in 1994. Now that they made a comeback I went to Best Buy and purchased a dvd of all of their music videos and have since watched it all the time. It reminds me of the day when I first bought my first music. To this day those music videos are so good and I can never get enough of them. I also like the new music videos they have done and will continue to like all the new videos to come. Because of this I decided to create this fanlisting in honor of all the music videos they have done and will do.
