Lance.nu was created on April 7, 2001 by Tiara. It is a fansite dedicated to Lance Bass of the former *N Sync music group. The history of the site as stated by Tiara of Lance.nu is:

"I started an *NSYNC site called "Hearing Secret Harmonies" in August '99, named after a random book I saw once. It wasn't a full fan site, just a collection of graphics, media, and opinion type things. In February 2001, I discovered the name lance.nu hadn't been purchased, so I bought it. I closed HSH and moved the good stuff here. Then I gathered everything I'd collected about Lance over the years and organized it, typed it, scanned it, and whatever else until I had a full site. The release of "On The Line" in 2001 and the space attempt in 2002 kept me busier with news than I originally expected, and the hiatus afterwards caused an even bigger lull. But overall, it's been a fun ride, and it still makes my day to get a nice comment from a visitor."
