At the start of the results show Dionne Warwick sang while the pros danced. They then announced two celebrities who were safe from elimination. Then there were more singing by Dionne Warwick and more dancing. They announced two more celebrities who were safe. Later they announced one celebrity who was in the bottom two. Paulina Porizkova was in the bottom two. Then they announced one by one if each celebrity was safe.

Joey was safe. Shandi Fennessey joined Paulina Porizkova in the bottom two. They then announced that Paulina was the first celebrity to go home. They also announced that Shandi had the second lowest score.
